The Good Dog

Hi, I am blogging about my book that I finished Saturday. It is about this dog named McKinley and his owner named Jack. One day Jack thought he saw a wolf near Strawberry Park. He rode his back to his house and told is parents named Gil and Sarah. They talked about it during supper and McKinley kept hearing the wolf word. They taught McKinley to open doors with his mouth.  Next he went to Jack's bedroom and went to bed. The next day he heard that Duchess got away from her leash her bad owner named Pycraft is asking a 500 dollar reward for anyone who catches her. Last time she got away she hid in between some boulders in Strawberry Park. McKinley went to the park and sniffed out the smell of Duchess in a few hours he runs into the wolf that Jack saw. Lupin was her name and she said "My pack is going to be extinct so I want you to and the other dogs to join my pack. By the way McKinley head dog for the town's dogs. He meets Redburn a bad dog that doesn't like him. McKinley follows Duchess's scent to the same boulders that she was in when she got away before. Duchess's scent and Lupin's is very strong leading onto the boulders. He gave a sharp howl to let them know that he was outside the boulders. Lupin and Duchess came out of the rocks. Redburn and Pycraft came out of the trees. Pycraft was going to shoot and then McKinley jumped on him and it hit Lupin and she scampered off so did McKinley. He went home and went to Jack's bedroom. Jack was waiting for him. I am going to take a break. Do you like the story so far? Going back to the story. McKinley find Lupin in a hole. He gave her water and went home to get the pot roast. He came back and gave it to Lupin. Duchess chewed it up a little so Lupin could chew. He found a cabin that no one had came too in a few years. So they went to the cabin and left Lupin there. Next when Duchess and McKinley got caught just leaving the cabin when Pycraft and Redburn showed up. They wanted to fight and they were when Sarah (Jack's mom) came by and grabbed McKinley by the collar. They went home and watch T.V. then McKinley went to bed in Jack's room. The next day McKinley got up early and went to find Lupin. Duchess said that Lupin to the wilderness. McKinley did find her, but when they talked Pycraft showed up. He was going to shoot him, but when he was about to when Jack tackled Pycraft. McKinley took the gun and dug it into the snow. Jack ran home with McKinley. McKinley the noext dat gave a howl to let the dogs know a meeting. Redburn wanted to be head dog, but everyone said no. When the meeting was over Jack said that he would be when he would grow up he would try and understand McKinley. Did you like the story? I did. Bye
